August 2020 I have started working at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in the Cyber and Infrastructure Resilience Group.
July 2020 I defended my thesis, “Improving Power System Situational Awareness during Geomagnetic Disturbances using Estimation and Visualization.” Thank you to my committee and colleagues for your support throughout my PhD!
January-February 2020 I will be at WE Local San Diego from January 31-February 1) and the Texas Power and Energy Conference (TPEC) from February 5-7. Looking forward to meeting new colleagues and reconnecting with old friends!
November 2019 I passed my Preliminary Examination and am officially a PhD Candidate.
November 2019 I attended WE19 in Anaheim, CA as the FY20 SWE Graduate Member Coordinator and an Outstanding Collegiate Member awardee. Slides from my Lightning Talk presentation are coming soon.

August 2019 I received the Thomas Powell Power and Energy Fellowship at Texas A&M University. Also, the College of Engineering published an article about my recent accomplishments.
April 2019 I attended WE Local Bellevue and was awarded 1st place in the Collegiate Research Competition, Graduate Division. It was great to return home to share my research and network with SWE!
January-May 2019 I taught ECEN 489 (now ECEN 340) Electric Energy Conversion at Texas A&M! I loved the topic, my students, and the opportunity!
November 2018, I am a finalist in the Texas A&M 3 Minute Thesis Competition! Come out on November 16th to see me compete in the finals!

October 2018, I attended WE18 in Minneapolis, Minnesota! The SWE Graduate Leadership Team and Graduate Community was awarded a SWE Mission Award – Silver Level! I’m so proud to be a part of this team and community!
September 2018, I presented the paper “The Potential for a GIC-inclusive State Estimator” at the North American Power Symposium in Fargo, North Dakota.
August 2018, I am currently a teaching assistant for ECEN 460: Power System Operations and Control at Texas A&M University!
