January 2023 I attended the 2023 IEEE PES Innovative Smart Grid Technologies (ISGT) Conference North America! Our paper, Collaborative and Autonomous Black Start: Theory and Implementation, is now available on IEEE Xplore.

December 2022 Our results and analysis using the grid resonance probe (GRP) to estimate impedance in a real-world system are now available in the IEEE Open Access Journal of Power and Energy!

October 2022 We successfully deployed and demonstrated a first-of-its-kind collaborative algorithm enabling networked microgrid controllers to control voltage support in an operational distribution system at the Electric Power Board (EPB) of Chattanooga as part of the DOE GMLC Citadels project!

July 2022 It’ll be great to be back at IEEE PES General Meeting in Denver, CO! Find me in Panel Session: New Sensors and Measurement Methods for Distribution Grids: Stability, State, Power Quality with the topic “Novel Method for Empirical Parameter Estimation in Distribution Systems Using Active Probing.”

January 2022 Learn more about how we’re applying collaborative autonomy and consensus algorithms to enable the coordination of networked microgrid in the first paper from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Grid Modernization Laboratory Consortium (GMLC) Citadels project!
